Library class teaches candy making in the microwave Dec. 15

LAKEPORT, Calif. – As part of Lakeport Library’s December theme, “Gifts from the Kitchen” the library will present a microwave candy class on Saturday, Dec. 15.

The class will begin at 2 p.m. at the library, 1425 N. High St.

Amy Patton will demonstrate how to make rocky road, fudge, toffee, caramels, peanut brittle and other types of candy in the microwave.

The class is free and no library card is required to attend.

Patton’s volunteer tasters have tested and approved these recipes.
