Napa Valley Elvis Festival planned for March

NAPA, Calif. – The Napa Valley Elvis Festival will take place on Saturday, March 23.

The festival will be held in the Napa Marriott Grand Ballroom, 3425 Solano Ave.

The Napa Valley Elvis Festival celebrates “Wild in the Country,” which Presley filmed in Napa and St Helena in 1961 with Hope Lange, Tuesday Weld and Millie Perkins.

The day’s events start off at 11:30 a.m. with a showing of “Wild in the Country,” with musician Ian Fraser-Thomson performing at 1:30 p.m.

At 3 p.m. Donny Edwards, a world-famous Elvis tribute artist, takes the stage at 3 p.m. for a matinee show. Visit his Web site at www.donnyedwardslive.com .
