NICE, Calif. – The Upper Lake High School Booster’s Club is continuing its efforts to raise money to be able to purchase and install stadium lights on the Upper Lake High School athletic field.
The fourth annual Lights of Love Valentine dinner/dance will take place on Saturday, Feb. 9, to support the effort.
Upper Lake is the only high school in Lake County without stadium lights. Acquisition of these lights will allow the schoo to host evening games and to increase school spirit and pride. Future students will benefit from the ongoing commitments that are now being made.
The dinner/dance will be held at the Sons of Italy club at 2817 Highway 20 in Nice.
Happy hour begins at 5 p.m. The buffet style dinner menu consists of tri tip or chicken and is served from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
A silent auction will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. An indoor poker run will be played from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Beatz Workin Band will provide dance music from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Beer or wine will be available.
If you are interested and would like to participate and/or contribute to this vision, there are several ways that you can help.
You can attend and purchase individual tickets for $25 each, or reserve an exclusive table for eight for $250. You can donate a prize for the silent auction, or you can simply make a monetary donation.
