Lego NXT Robot Workshop takes place April 13

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – A Lego robot workshop will be held on Saturday, April 13.

The workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Taylor Observatory, 5725 Oak Hills Lane, Kelseyville.

The “NXT Programming for Beginners” workshop is a fun, hands-on learning adventure open to students (ages 9-14), teachers, mentors and parents who are involved with a FIRST Lego League (FLL) team and want their robot to perform well in the competition.

This workshop will make you think – be prepared for some real challenges. Get ready to program your robot – you will be using the powerful Lego NXT robot with its Graphical User Interface (GUI) programming language.

Step-by-step is the best way – skills you develop in one project are used in the projects that follow. This is only the beginning – there is a lot more that NXT can do.
