LAKEPORT – Lakeport Library will host a free program for the public about fire safety on Saturday, April 20 at 1:30 p.m.

Linda Juntunen, project coordinator for the Lake County Fire Safe Council, and Jeff Tunnell, a fire mitigation and education specialist with the Bureau of Land Management, will speak about fire safety both inside and outside of the home.

The library is located at 1425 N. High St.

The library’s April display will feature books and pamphlets about fire safety and fire prevention.
