AMIA to hold annual membership meeting May 9

LOWER LAKE, Calif. – The Anderson Marsh Interpretive Association will hold its annual membership meeting on Thursday, May 9.

The meeting will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Anderson Marsh State Historic Park, located on Highway 53 before Lower Lake and Clearlake.

The meeting will feature a special film showing and an open house. Refreshments will be provided.

Join fellow AMIA members in the historic ranch house for a fun evening of news updates, refreshments and entertainment.

The program will include:

  • Exciting news about the new partnership agreement between AMIA and the State Parks Department that will ensure that the park will remain open, with new funding for maintenance and improvements.
  • A tribute to the late Huell Howser, an avid State Park supporter and television producer.
  • Showing of the episode of Huell Howser’s “California’s Gold” that highlights the show’s visit to Anderson Marsh.
