LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Soroptimist International of Clear Lake will install the new officers for the 2013-14 term at a special luncheon meeting to be held Thursday, June 27.

The luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the dining area of Chic le Chef in the Hardester's Plaza on Hartman Road, Hidden Valley Lake.

Officers to be installed and assume their duties on July 1 include Wanda Harris, who will be serving her second term as president; Judy Conard, vice president; Marsha Willard, secretary; Joy Swetnam, treasurer; Olga Martin Steele, director; and Pollyann Johnston, public relations director.

Soroptimist of Clear Lake has some exciting programs planned to assist the girls and women of Lake County to better their lives.

Soroptimist is a cause-related philanthropic federation of clubs working to improve the lives of women and girls locally, nationally and internationally.

Soroptimist International Clear Lake meets twice monthly, on the second and fourth Thursdays, at Howard's Grotto in Clearlake. Lunch is $12 and all interested women are invited to attend and learn more about the organization.
