LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Yacht Club is having a three-day catfish derby Friday, Aug. 23, through Sunday, Aug. 25.

The entry fee is $15 for children and $50 for adults.

There will be a raffle with great prizes, too, donated by local businesses.

The catfish derby headquarters is located at the Lakeport Yacht Club building, at the end of Fifth Street parking lot in Lakeport, north of Library Park.

Entries must be in by 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23.

Children must have a signature on their form and be accompanied by their guardian to be in the event.
