LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Anderson Marsh Interpretive Association is asking everyone who would like to support Anderson Marsh State Historic Park to “save the date,” Saturday, Sept. 14, for a musical fundraiser to help keep the park open.
The event will take place at the Soper-Reese Community Theatre, 275 S. Main St., in Lakeport, beginning at 7 p.m.
Featured will be bluegrass favorites Pat Ickes & Bound to Ride and the crowd-pleasing Anderson Family Band.
Wine will be poured by Thorn Hill Winery, which has generously offered to donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of wine to AMIA. Snacks will also be available for purchase.
Tickets for this event are $25 and will be available before the event at the Soper-Reese box office on Fridays, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and at the Travel Center, 1265 S. Main St., Lakeport, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All profits from the concert will go towards projects, expenses and improvements at the park.
