LAKEPORT, Calif. – Bluegrass musicians will rock the Soper-Reese Community Theatre on Saturday, Sept. 14, as the Anderson Marsh Interpretive Association brings another great show to town to benefit the Anderson Marsh State Historic Park.
The concert featuring Pat Ickes and Bound to Ride, the Anderson Family, and fiddle contest winners from the Cloverdale Fiddle Festival will start at 7 p.m. and promises an evening of great music and fun.
Opening the show will be Evan and Jillian Johnsen, fiddlers accompanied by their grandfather Randy Johnsen on guitar.
Following the Johnsens’ performance will be Rafael Contreras, fiddler, and the renowned Don Coffin. The Anderson Family will perform prior to intermission and Pat Ickes and Bound to Ride will conclude the evening.
Thorn Hill Winery will pour wine and snacks will be available for purchase. Profits will benefit projects, expenses and improvements at Anderson Marsh State Historic Park near Lower Lake.
Tickets are just $25 and are available at the Soper-Reese box office, open on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the Travel Center in the Shoreline Shopping Center in Lakeport, open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at the Tallman Hotel in Upper Lake, open seven days a week.
