LAKEPORT, Calif. – Santa’s helpers at the Lakeport branch of Savings Bank invite the community to help spread holiday cheer by stopping by to select a tag from the Lake Family Resource Center “Christmas Wish Tree” to help fulfill the wish list of local children in need.

“With the collective effort and generosity of the community, children in need won’t have to go without during the holiday season,” said Savings Bank Branch Manager Susie Robinson.

Gifts donated will fulfill the wish lists of needy children in Lake Family Resource Center programs such as, the domestic violence, sexual assault, differential response, teen parenting, nurturing parenting, early head start and behavioral health programs.

“The Christmas Wish Tree is a wonderful program which benefits the children that we serve in Lake County,” said Lake Family Resource Center Executive Director Gloria Flaherty. “Lake Family Resource Center is truly grateful for our community support and the continuous kindness that is received year round.”

The deadline to select a tag and return the requested wish list items is Wednesday, Dec. 18.

The Savings Bank Lakeport branch is located at 290 S. Main St.

Lobby hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 pm., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The drive-through opens at 8:30 a.m.
