LUCERNE, Calif. – The Lake Country Amateur Radio Society will hold its second annual Spring Fling barbecue on Saturday, March 15.

The public is invited to the event, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lucerne Community Church, 5870 Highway 20.

There will be chicken and tri-tip, with ham radio operators to bring appetizers, side dishes, desserts and tableware.

The cost is $10 per person.

There also will be a raffle for a handheld Baofeng UV-B6, with tickets priced at $5 each. Participants must be present to win.
