Governor reappoints Rhoades to Lake County Fair Board

SACRAMENTO – Gov. Jerry Brown has reappointed local attorney Doug Rhoades to the 49th District Agricultural Association, Lake County Fair Board of Directors.

Rhoades, 59, of Kelseyville has served on the fair board since 2012.

He has been an attorney in private practice since 1997. He served in multiple positions at the Lake County California Sheriff's Department from 1976 to 1997, including sergeant and deputy sheriff.  

He earned a juris doctor degree from the Empire College School of Law.

This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation.

Rhoades is a Democrat.
