LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Chi Council for the Clear Lake Hitch will not meet in June.

Instead, the group's next meeting will take place at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at the Lake County Agriculture Center, 883 Lakeport Blvd., Lakeport.

The meeting's primary topic will be a discussion about the Aug. 6 session of the California Fish and Game Commission, when a decision on the petition to list the hitch under the California Endangered Species Act is likely.
