LOWER LAKE, Calif. – “Operation Get Ready,” an exercise in which local government and Cal Fire resources will prep for the fire season, is taking place on Saturday, June 14, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Lower Lake.

Cal Fire Battalion Chief Greg Bertelli said the operation will be held in the Riata Road area off of Spruce Grove Road.

Bertelli said smoke will be visible in the area, as they will be burning a field and doing training.
