CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Soroptimist International of Clear Lake's next business meeting is on Thursday, Aug. 14.

The group meets at noon at Howard's Grotto, 14732 Lakeshore Drive in Clearlake.

Soroptimist is a cause-related philanthropic federation of clubs working to improve the lives of women and girls locally, nationally and internationally.

Lake County women are invited and encouraged to join Soroptimist Clear Lake and get involved in the projects to improve the lives of women and girls in the community.

Soroptimist International of Clear Lake meets twice monthly – on the second and fourth Thursdays – at noon at Howard's Grotto.
