WILLITS, Calif. – Want to hone up your solar skills? Gain hands on experience installing solar PV by volunteering with GRID Alternatives.

GRID is a nonprofit solar organization making renewable energy accessible to low-income families in our area.

Weekly installs in Mendocino and Lake counties, volunteer orientations monthly.

Next orientation is Monday, Sept. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Willits Library.

No experience is necessary.
