UPPER LAKE, Calif. – Lake County Wine Studio will host a wine release party for Glamazon Wines and an anniversary celebration for Bodkin Wines on Saturday, Oct. 25.

The party will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. at the studio, 9505 Main St.

The event will include paired appetizers by Chef Mark Linback.   

Mike and Kate Mims of Glamazon Wines will be at the Studio and Christopher Christensen, winemaker and head honcho of Bodkin Wines will also appear for the festivities.
 
The $10 per person (no charge for studio club members) wine sampler will showcase Bodkin Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc with a whipped Chèvre on crostini with sundried tomato appetizer and house smoked salmon on blinis with dilled crème fraiche. 

Glamazon new release Deadpan Merlot will be paired with beggar's purses: sautéed mushrooms wrapped in phyllo, and warm duck confit and brie toast points.

Glamazon new release Precocious Petite Sirah will be paired with a blue cheese bread pudding bite, and pan seared duck breast on crostini with blackberry confit.

Glamazon Wines are crafted from grapes grown at Robinson Lake Vineyard in Upper Lake. Bodkin Wines is crafting their sparkling wine from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown at Sandy Bend Vineyard in Upper Lake.
