CLEARLAKE OAKS, Calif. – Approximately 200 people braved the dicey weather on Oct. 25 to attend Cache Creek Vineyard’s inaugural Boots, Wine and BBQ concert event.
Up-and-coming country singer, McKenna Faith performed for the crowd and Running Creek Casino provided a phenomenal barbecue spread.
Wine specials were offered by the glass and bottle and beer from Kelsey Creek Brewing was available as well.
“This was a wonderful event,” said attendee Helen McCune. “Great friends, music, food, wine and beer from Kelsey Creek Brewing. We had a fantastic girl’s night out. The staff was so friendly and fun loving. I would love to attend another event like this.”
The menu included tri tip, chicken quarters, pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, red potato salad, baked beans and garlic bread.
Running Creek Executive Chef Matt Young provided an incredible meal, and Cache Creek Vineyards is excited to partner with him and the entire team at Running Creek Casino for future events.
“We were very pleased and honored to be a part of the ‘social event of the season’ in Lake County and to work with such an outstanding group of professional people at Cache Creek Vineyards,” said Frank Hughes, director of Food and Beverage at Running Creek Casino.
Despite sporadic rains leading up to the event, the event was relatively dry with just a sprinkle of rain as people first began to arrive.
Concertgoers were able to take shelter and stay cozy on a large covered patio that also has built in heaters.
The next event at Cache Creek Vineyards will be a Holiday Charity Faire on Dec. 6.
Tasting room open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 250 New Long Valley Road, Clearlake Oaks.
