LAKEPORT, Calif. – Hospice Services of Lake County has received a generous donation of $1,500 from Westamerica Bank to support community bereavement programs in Lake County.
The check was presented by Sinda Knight, financial sales officer, and Lisa Kline, regional vice president, to Anja Koot, executive director of Hospice Services of Lake County.
An integral part of the Hospice Services of Lake County mission is to offer grief support groups to people in the community to help them cope with the loss of loved ones.
In addition to eight week support groups for adults, Hospice Services of Lake County also facilitates specialized grief groups in schools for children who are grieving for a family member or a loved one.
Because of the generous support of businesses like Westamerica Bank, Hospice Services of Lake County is able to provide these services free of charge.
