LAKEPORT, Calif. – Lake County Public Services Director Caroline Chavez announced that the Historic Courthouse Museum in Lakeport and the Historic Schoolhouse Museum in Lower Lake will be closed Thursday, Jan. 1, for the New Year’s holiday.

Both museums will reopen on Friday, Jan. 2.

Normal operating hours at the Courthouse Museum in Lakeport are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. 

The Historic Schoolhouse Museum in Lower Lake is normally open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and closed on Sundays.
