LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – State income tax filing season is upon us, bringing with it an exciting opportunity for Lake County residents to help provide decent affordable housing for in-need families within our communities. 

A new law has been passed that includes Habitat for Humanity in the list of available organizations to donate to when tax payers file their California state returns. 

Habitat for Humanity is the only housing organization available for Californians to select from this program.

 Habitat for Humanity Lake County urges everyone who files a California state return to check the donation box on line 428 of their income tax return and donate as it will all for continued home-building projects within Lake County.
