KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The SPCA of Clear Lake says there has never been a better time to bring a little bit of love into your life.
During the month of February, all kitten and cat adoption fees have been reduced to $40.
Do you have a soft spot in your heart for small dogs or puppies? Their adoption fees also have been reduced.
Dogs under 40 pounds, as well as puppies, are now just $75. This includes first shots and spay/neuter.
Other great things are happening at the SPCA of Clear Lake as well.
The organization's wonderful staff has been reaching out to others within the community, and beyond, to better serve the animals and those who adopt them.

Now when you adopt an animal from the SPCA, you also will be entitled to a free exam within one week of adoption at the following veterinary clinics: Animal Hospital of Lake County (Clearlake), Clearlake Veterinary Clinic (Clearlake), Main Street Veterinary Clinic (Lakeport) and Wasson Memorial Veterinary Clinic (Lakeport).
The SPCA would like to thank these great organizations for agreeing to partner with us to help the animals, as well as their new pet guardians.
The kennels continue to be near or at capacity at the SPCA and our staff is always looking for ways to get the animals in their care into homes just a bit sooner.
To that end, staff recently reached out to other rescue organizations in the surrounding areas for assistance.
To date, the following organizations have agreed to assist in getting the animals placed: Marin Humane Society, Wine Country Animal Lovers, Mendocino Coast Humane Society, Sequoia Humane Society and Pet's Lifeline.

If you would like to adopt one of the adorable animals at the SPCA of Clear Lake, volunteer, or make a donation, the staff at the SPCA would love to hear from you.
The SPCA is open seven days a week, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Don’t forget that the SPCA is also your place to go for low cost spay or neuter, as well as vaccinations. Contact the friendly staff regarding dates and times.
The SPCA of Clear Lake is located at 8025 Highway 29 in Kelseyville.
