MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – The Gibson Museum and Cultural Center is putting out a call to the community for Middletown Days memorabilia for a display to honor this year's event.
Middletown Days will take place this year June 19 through 11.
The museum is hoping to have items this week to put together for a display throughout June and possibly into July.
They are looking for loans – not donations – of items going back to the inception of the event in 1961.
Items they would like to display include trophies, ribbons, riding gear, lariats, chaps, crops, stirrups, crowns, parade props and photos. These items will be cared for and returned promptly.
