LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The Board of Directors of Lake County PEG TV is providing notice to Lake County citizens who wish to serve on the board as the public member or education member.
Lake County PEG TV (LCPTV) is a public agency created by a joint powers agreement between the city of Clearlake and the county of Lake to provide a local public, education and government television station serving Lake County and operating under federal, state and local laws and regulations.

The LCPTV Board of Directors meets on the second Wednesday of each month at city hall in Clearlake or Lakeport. Board members serve as volunteers and do not receive compensation.
The appointments are for two public members – one of whom has been designated as the education member – who are appointed by the other three LCPTV Board members.
A member must reside within Lake County – including the territory in the city limits of Lakeport and Clearlake – to complete a two-year term of office which will expire in January 2017.
A public member must be able and available to regularly attend LCPTV Board meetings and may be removed for chronic absence.
No officer or employee of the county or any city within Lake County is allowed to sit as a public member on the LCPTV Board of Directors.
