Show and Shine Car Show results announced

CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Bill Sullivan of Clearlake, was awarded “best overall” in the 15th annual Show and Shine Car Show, held July 4 during the Lakeshore Lions Club's 58th annual Redbud Parade and Festival.

Sullivan also received the “Sexy '60s” award with his 1966 Chevelle Super Sport hardtop.

The award for the “Best Low Rider” went to Cal Murillo of Clearlake and his 1967 Chevy Impala, while Linda Cunningham-McEwen of Hidden Valley Lake was awarded the trophy for “Best Euro/Import,” with her 1978 Fiat Spider.

“Best Boat” went to Steven Lowater, of Lower Lake and his 1975 Sanger Hydro.

Kyle Aarreberg of Clearlake received the award for “Best Motorcycle” with his 2008 Street Bob.

“Lions Choice” went to Tim Lohrey, of Rio Linda, and his 1932 Ford three-window coupe.

The “Lioness Choice” winner was James and Diane Tullos, of Lower Lake, who showed their 1951 Ford custom car.

Additional awards were presented as follows:

– “Roaring '20s”: TJ Hayness of Lakeport and his 1928 Ford Model pickup.
– “Pretty '30s”: Mickey Hindman of Kelseyville and his 1937 Ford coupe.
– “Fabulous '40s”: Jim Mallard of Lower Lake and his 1949 Mercury sedan.
– “Nifty '50s”: Dave and Kathy Lakatos of Kelseyville and their 1955 Chevy 210.
