MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – The UC Master Gardener Program of Lake County is hosting a free workshop this weekend on preparing for wet winter weather.

“Erosion control: Preparing for El Niño,” which will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Calpine Visitors Center, 15500 Central Park Road in Middletown.

This workshop will focus on measures to take now to prepare your home and garden for heavy rain, especially in fire-damaged areas.
