LAKEPORT, Calif – The Lake County First 5 Lake Commission will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, March 23.

The meeting will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Legacy Court, 1950 Parallel Drive in Lakeport.

Agenda items include a committee update on succession planning for Executive Director Tom Jordan and approval to hire an interim director after Jordan retires, if necessary.

The commission also will approve the 2015-16 First 5 Lake budget revision, hold a public hearing to accept First 5 California's 2014-15 Annual Report, approve a grant for the ECE recognition event of not less than $500, and hear a presentation on e-cigarettes and tobacco cessation from Jessica Hamner of the Department of Public Health.

There also will be reports from the executive director and commissioners, and public comment and announcements.

Commissioners include Jim Brown, Laurie Daly, Brock Falkenberg, Carol Huchingson, Susan Jen, Pam Klier, Ana Santana and Jeff Smith.
