Supervisor Steele to host coffees in Upper Lake

UPPER LAKE, Calif. – District 3 Supervisor Jim Steele will resume hosting “Coffee with the Supervisor” in Upper Lake on a monthly basis.
The next coffee is on Saturday, July 22, at 10 a.m. at the Vintage Station Deli.

Future coffees will be on the fourth Saturday of the month.

Key topics of discussion at the July coffee include the proposed cannabis ordinance and the establishment of the West Region Town Hall council, or WRTH.

The WRTH encompasses the communities of Nice, Upper Lake, Blue Lakes and Lake Pillsbury. It is the final of three Councils to be formed in District 3. The East and Middle Region Town Hall Councils are already operational.

Applications for the WRTH Council are currently being accepted and will be available at the Coffee.

Supervisor Steele will provide updates on other areas of interest and take questions.
