CLEARLAKE, Calif. – The Thursday Morning Breakfast Group that meets weekly in Clearlake has announced its lineup of invited guest speakers for the month of August.

The group meets at 7 a.m. at Main Street Café, 14084 Lakeshore Drive.

The lineup is as follows:

– Aug. 10: Anne Garner from the Park Study Club talking about the club’s 76-year history.

– Aug. 17: Barbara Christwitz from Citizens Caring for Clearlake speaking about the group’s beginning and activities.

– Aug. 24: California Department of Fish and Wildlife Officer Ryan Stephenson discussing his agency and wardens’ duties.

– Aug. 31: California Highway Patrol Officer Kory Reynolds speaking about the danger of texting and use of cell phones.
