NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around Lake County and the North Coast during the coming week.

Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.

LAKE COUNTY

Highway 20

– Rumble strip installation from Clover Creek to Stokes Court began Tuesday, Sept. 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 29

– Emergency culvert repairs from Spruce Grove Road to Hofacker Lane will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Rumble strip installation at various locations from Route 281 to Robinson Rancheria Road will occur through Monday, Sept. 11. In two lane sections one-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays, and motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. In four lane sections traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions, and motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

Highway 175

– Rumble strip installation from Mathews Road to north Route 29 through Monday, Sept. 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Emergency highway repairs near Arroyo Vista Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Rumble strip installation from Putah Creek to Santa Clara St. through Monday, Sept. 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

MENDOCINO COUNTY

Highway 1

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for tree trimming from Pacific Wood Road to Iverson Road, which began Tuesday, Sept. 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Bridge work at Noyo River will begin Wednesday, Sept. 13. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Emergency work north of the Westport North Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Emergency storm damage repairs south of the Wages Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

Highway 20

– Bridge work from Little Lake Road to Private Road will occur Wednesday and Thursday, September 13 and 14. One-way traffic control will be in effect 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at 1 miles east of James Creek. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Rumble strip installation at various locations from Russian River Overhead to Road 260 will occur Thursday, Sept. 7, and Friday, Sept. 8. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 101

– Median barrier installation from Geysers Road to Comminsky Station Road will continue. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions from 4 a.m. to midnight weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Slide repairs from Comminsky Station Road to the Pieta Creek Bridge will continue. Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Routine maintenance near Frog Woman Rock will continue. Northbound traffic will be restricted to one lane 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Guardrail repairs at Crawford Creek began Tuesday, Sept. 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Bridge work at Pomo Undercrossing will begin Wednesday, Sept. 13. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Emergency work near Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Guardrail repairs at Haehl Overhead to Bridge Walker Road will begin Monday, Sept. 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Drainage repairs just south of Outlet Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Drainage repairs near Big Trails Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Drainage repairs at various locations from the Moss Cove Rest Area to the Empire Camp Rest Area will continue. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Emergency pavement repairs from Long Valley Creek to the Empire Camp Rest Area will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Monday evening through Saturday morning. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Emergency work near Hermitage Vista Point will continue. Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Emergency slide removal near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Guardrail repairs near Confusion Hill began Tuesday, Sept. 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 128

– Bridge work from Shearing Creek to Fish Rock Road will begin Monday, Sept. 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 162

– Pavement work from 1 mile west of Poonkiny to Fairbanks Short Creek will begin Monday, Sept. 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Bridge work at Outlet Creek Bridge will begin Wednesday, Sept. 13. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

Highway 175

– Emergency storm damage repairs at various locations from 1.7 miles east of Buckman Drive to the Lake/Mendocino County line will continue. One-way traffic control with a temporary traffic signal will be in effect 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Motorists should anticipate 30-minute delays.

Highway 253

– Highway repairs near Singley Cattlepass will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
