Lakeport Senior Center plans Oct. 14 ‘Monster Mash’ fundraiser

LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Senior Center is hosting a Monster Mash fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 14.

The Hip Replacements will rock the hall from 6 to 9 p.m.

A no-host bar will be available.

There will be a costume contest that will include best dressed, best couple and best youngster.

Chef Jon Hork, who blew everyone away with his food at the “Love Letters” Dinner and Play, will be creating a ghoulish masterpiece of eats.

The “rotten pumpkin” fritters (pumpkin and cranberry fritters), fried “bat wings” (chicken wings) and numerous other scary dishes will scare and delight all the monsters who attend.

Tickets for this event are $25 presale or $30 at the door and are available at the Meals on Wheels Thrift Store in Lakeport or the Lakeport Senior Center, 427 Konocti Ave.
