Soroptimists hold dramatic mystery dinner theatre
CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Soroptimist International Clear Lake held an exciting event at its mystery dinner theatre Sept. 22 in Clearlake.

The group’s own special speakeasy was set up at the Cornelison Event Center and filled with fabulous food and great wines (if you knew the password into the hidden “bar”).

It was an evening of fun and drama. The mystery unfolded as the “players” moved through the dinner tables, accusing each other of deadly motives.

Best of all, the audience – many dressed in 1920 attire – got to enter into the “action,” questioning the cast as they worked to unmask the killer.

Special thanks to all the wonderful supporters of the Soroptimists who made The Mystery Theatre, one of several Soroptimist fundraisers, a “roaring” success.

The Soroptimists are a volunteer organization whose primary focus is to improve the lives of women and girls.

Visit the group on Facebook at Soroptimist International of Clear Lake and join them at their next fundraiser in support of the community, the Spring Fling in March.
