CLEARLAKE, Calif. – The Clearlake Police Department has issued advisory evacuations for parts of the city due to the Sulphur fire.

Officials are recommending that residents in the area east of Rumsey Road and Burns Valley Road and west of Highway 53 that are north of Olympic Drive voluntarily evacuate their homes.

Areas remaining under mandatory evacuation include Second Street to 17th Street, San Joaquin to Windflower Point, the Burns Valley area to Smith Lane and North Drive in Clearlake and Sulphur Bank Road in Clearlake Oaks.
