LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Local school district officials have issued an update about plans for school closures on Tuesday, Oct. 10, due to the Sulphur fire.

Konocti Unified School District Superintendent Donna Becnel announced that all district schools will be closed on Tuesday due to the fires and evacuations.

All other school districts around Lake County are planning to be open on Tuesday, according to the Lake County Office of Education.
