LOWER LAKE, Calif. – The Lake County Department of Social Services is able to assist fire impacted individuals with CalFresh Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, replacement benefits and applications.
CalFresh replacement benefits are available to current CalFresh recipients who lost food due to the impact of the fires (such as power outage).
Expedited CalFresh applications are available to low-income households who do not already have benefits.
To request replacement CalFresh or to apply, contact Lake County Social Services at www.dss.co.lake.ca.us, call 707-995-4200 or visit the agency at 15975 Anderson Ranch Parkway in Lower Lake during normal business hours, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
