LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lake County Republican Central Committee will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Round Table Pizza in Lakeport.

Social time begins at 5:30 p.m., with the meeting starting at 6 p.m.

The topic of discussion will be where the California Republican Party is headed in this upcoming election year and what changes have been made within the party.

Reports will cover the October convention, the candidates who spoke at the convention and those who are running next year as Republicans.

The group also will discuss the new gas tax and sanctuary state laws that were passed by the State Legislature and what Republicans are doing to counter both.
