State, FEMA urge property owners to complete right-of-entry forms for wildfire cleanup

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The state of California and the Federal Emergency Management Agency have started the Consolidated Debris Removal Program in wildland fire-impacted areas.

Homeowners needing debris cleared simply have to download and fill out a right-of-entry form so crews can begin their work.

Find the form at www.Wildfirerecovery.org or contact Lake County Environmental Health at http://www.co.lake.ca.us/Government/Directory/Environmental_Health.htm or 707-263-1164.

Officials said deadlines to return the form or opt out of the program are looming, so quick action is critical.
