LOWER LAKE, Calif. – The Lower Lake Historical School Preservation Committee will present its annual Christmas tree lighting and holiday open house on Friday, Dec. 8.

The event will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Lower Lake Historic Schoolhouse Museum, 16435 Main St.

There will be an old-fashioned sing-a-long around the player piano, music by Bill Barrows, refreshments and merriment, all in the decorated Victorian Parlor.

Santa Claus arrives at 6 p.m. sharp, just in time for the tree lighting ceremony.

The museum is located at 16435 Main St.
