MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – Wish trees for the Spirit of the Season program are now up in various locations in south Lake County.

Community members can pick up a wish tree card, purchase a gift, place in a gift bag and return to the site from which they took the card.

All gifts must be returned by Friday, Dec. 8.

Wish trees are located in Middletown at Next Home Realty, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Westamerica Bank, TriCounties Bank and Funtopia.

In Hidden Valley Lake, the wish trees are in Mulligans and Morgan Lane Realty.

Spirit of the Season provides a Christmas food box with a turkey and all the trimmings. The wish tree project gives children a specific gift they requested.
