How to resolve AdBlock issue? 
LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Soroptimist International of Clear Lake was the chosen recipient for the latest 100 Women Strong of Lake County award.
The very generous $16,400 will go towards the Live Your Dream Awards.
These awards help give women, many of whom have overcome enormous obstacles including poverty, domestic violence and/or drug and alcohol abuse, the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.
The recipients use the cash award to offset any costs associated with their efforts to attain higher education, such as books, childcare, tuition and transportation.
The Soroptimists are very grateful to the 100 Women Strong group. This group of 160+ women (and growing) are a wonderful addition to Lake County.
Using their “women power” to fund several local charities each year they have added an amazing funding source to this county.

To be eligible you must be a woman who provides the primary financial support for her family, is enrolled in, or has been accepted to, a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program, can demonstrate financial need and is not a Soroptimist or a family member.
The deadline for applying for this year’s awards is Dec. 31.
