LAKEPORT, Calif. – The First 5 Lake Commission will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 10.

The commission will meet beginning at 2 p.m. at Lake Family Resource Center, 896 Lakeport Blvd., Lakeport.

Items on the agenda include the election of officers for 2018, review and approve funding request from The Nest, review and approve the 2017-18 mid-year budget revision, review and discussion of the draft evaluation request for qualifications, approval of the 2018-19 program extensions and review of First 5 Lake By-Laws.

There also will be reports from Executive Director Carla Ritz and the commissioners.

All those interested in the well-being of families and young children are encouraged to attend.

The commission includes Chair Pam Klier, Vice Chair Denise Pomeroy and members Brock Falkenberg, Jeff Smith, Crystal Markytan, Susan Jen, Laurie Daly, Carly Swatosh and Allison Panella.
