LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The Master Gardeners of Lake County will host a series of upcoming workshops on pruning fruit trees and roses.

The Master Gardeners is a University of California-based group of volunteers dedicated to educating the community regarding any gardening questions they might have primarily in Lake County.

The planned workshops are as follows.

– Pruning fruit trees, 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Jan. 20, south Lakeport.
– Pruning roses and fruit trees, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 27, Lower Lake.
– Pruning fruit trees, 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Feb. 3, north Lakeport.

A $5 fee is requested for each class and includes informational materials.

In the event of rain, the workshops will be rescheduled.
