NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around Lake County and the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at Oak Grove Ave and Lake Street. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Mendocino County
Highway 1
– Emergency slide repairs at 1 mile South Mill Bank Resort will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 24 hours a day. Motorist should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 20
– Routine Maintenance at James Creek Bridge to Three Chop Road will end on Friday, Feb. 9. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Bridge work at Russian River Overhead Bridge will occur on Sunday, February 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 101
– Slide repairs from Commisky Station Road to the Pieta Creek Bridge will continue. Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane 24 hours a day. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Routine maintenance near Frog Woman Rock will continue. Northbound traffic will be restricted to one lane 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Sign work from First Street to Hewlitt & Sturtevant Roads will occur on Wednesday, Feb. 14. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Bridge work at Northbound 101 offramp to Highway 20 will occur on Sunday, Feb. 11. Full closure of the offramp will be in effect 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should seek an alternate route.
– Emergency wildfire repairs at Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 24 hours a day weekdays. Motorist should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Utility Work at .50 miles south of Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays. Motorist should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Guardrail work .50 mile north of Bear Pin Undercrossing to 1.3 mile south of Dora Creek Bridge will be begin Monday, Feb. 12. Lane restrictions will be in effect 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Emergency slide repairs at Piercy will continue. Lane restrictions will be in effect 24 hours a day. Motorist should minor traffic slowdowns.
Highway 128
– Emergency work at Beebe Creek Bridge to Big Oaks Drive will begin on Monday, Feb. 12. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 162
– Wall work at The Middle Way will continue. One-way traffic control with a temporary stop signs will be in effect 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 175
– Emergency storm damage repairs at various locations from 1.7 miles east of Buckman Drive to the Lake/Mendocino County line will continue. One-way traffic control with a temporary traffic signal will be in effect 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
