Lakeport Traffic Safety Advisory Committee meets Feb. 26

LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Traffic Safety Advisory Committee will hold its next meeting on Monday, Feb. 26.

The meeting will begin at 4 p.m. in the front conference room at Lakeport City Hall, 225 Park St.

Agenda items include the annual election of the chair and vice chair and the 2018 meeting calendar.

The committee also will receive updates on traffic safety-related citizen complaints received in the past six months, the Lakeport Police Department’s report on traffic enforcement operations and information on the 11th Street corridor.

There also will information on ongoing projects including the citywide relining project, the Hartley Street active transportation planning, the Community Development Block Grant Forbes Creek Neighborhood grant application and the Lake Area Planning Council Sidewalk Inventory Project.

The committee includes citizen members Ann Blue, Vicki Cole, Frank Dollosso, Nathan Maxman and Suzanne Russell, and Community Development Director Kevin Ingram, Police Chief Brad Rasmussen, City Engineer Paul Curren and City Clerk/Secretary Kelly Buendia.
