LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – As retired Judge Steven Bailey has formally announced his campaign for California attorney general in the 2018 election, there is good reason for his being invited to address Lake County Republicans at 6 p.m. March 10 at the inaugural Ronald Reagan Day reception and dinner.

The event will take place at the Riviera Hills Restaurant, 10200 Fairway Drive, Kelseyville.

More and more, Californians are realizing the importance of the Office of Attorney General. Consider that the department employs more than 1,100 attorneys – meaning that the attorney general supervises the governmental equivalent of a law firm much larger than the vast majority of U.S. private law firms – and 3,700 non-attorney employees.

Judge Bailey, in his years of service, has never forgotten his oath to uphold the Constitution of the state of California and the Constitution of the United States.

Republicans will learn from him what it will mean for California to have an attorney general with his credentials which show his judicial experience and his legal and legislative skills.

The event is being hosted by Lake County Republican Women, Federated and Lake County Republican Central Committee.
