KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – It’s that time again – the Soroptimist Spring Fling Luncheon will take place on Saturday, May 12.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the event starts at noon at Boatique Winery, 8225 Red Hills Road, Kelseyville.

The guest speaker will be Chris Stewart, known as the world’s No. 1​ ​door to door hope salesman. .

Stewart is a recovering heroin addict from Hollywood. He travels the world teaching preventative education, tools for sustainable sobriety, and proven methods to achieve your dreams, better your relationships and overcome your fears one day at a time.

Lunch will be catered by Fresh N Bangin’ and will feature a grilled chicken breast with blue basil-lavender pesto, fresh dinner rolls with herb compound butter, mixed green salad with fresh raspberries, orange supremes, raspberry-thyme vinaigrette, and chopped almonds, sautéed haricot verts tossed with rosemary-lemon aioli and a mix of red and white quinoa pilaf. Veggie entrée will be a grilled portobello mushroom & caramelized onions w/ blue basil-lavender pesto.

Dessert will be catered by the Advanced Culinary Arts Class at Woodland Community College and will include yogurt panna cotta with passion fruit gelee topped with fresh fruit, dark chocolate mousse and tiramisu.

There will be a silent auction, live auction, raffles and music by Scott Serena. Tickets are $40 per person in advance or $45 at the door.
