UPPER LAKE, Calif. – In part one of a four-part series, Lake County Wine Studio is presenting an interactive exploration of Lake County varietals, appellations and wine making styles co-hosted by Shannon Michele.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 31, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Lake County Wine Studio, 9505 Main St., Upper Lake.

The series aims to help participants advance their sensory evaluation and wine tasting skills with specially selected varietals, flights and verticals paired with gourmet cheeses to compliment the wine tasting experience.

This first session in the series will focus on a comparison of Cabernet Sauvignons.

Featured will be Cabernets from the Red Hills AVA, Cabernets from the 2012 Vintage, and a special vertical of Noggle Vineyard’s Cabernets.

The next date in the series for 2018 will be June 9. Seating is limited.
