LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Clear Lake Trowel and Trellis Garden Club will meet at noon, Tuesday, April 17, at the Scotts Valley Women's Club House at 2298 Hendricks Road, Lakeport.
Blaise Bahara will be the guest speaker.
She is the co-founder, co-owner, operations and creative director, as well as the farmer for Dancing Poly Farm located in Kelseyville.
Dancing Poly Farm relishes great food. The mission is to turn fresh, farm grown and locally sourced produce into the most delicious food imaginable.
Cooking has been their passion for more than 30 years, from commercial catering, to fun and informative classes, to creating their own successful restaurant.
There is an old barn, nestled among vineyards and olive trees, transformed into a commercially licensed kitchen. It will be the hub of many scheduled and wonderful gastronomic events.
Bahara will be showing pictures of the different areas of the farm. This is going to be a great program, especially this time of year when we are all planning our vegetable gardens.
The club welcomes new members and information can be found by visiting www.clttgc.org.
