Rushing endorses Crandell for District 3 supervisor

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Former District 3 Supervisor Denise Rushing has endorsed EJ Crandell for District 3 supervisor.

Rushing decided to endorse Crandell after attending his campaign kickoff earlier this month.

In throwing her support behind Crandell, Rushing said, “EJ Crandell has my vote. He brings a deep understanding of the issues and people in District 3 to the role of Supervisor. His time on the county planning commission along with leadership experience, integrity, work ethic, and ability to listen to diverse views will benefit the district and the whole county.”

Crandell praised Rushing for her tenured and distinguished service to the people of District 3. “I am honored to receive the support of such a dedicated and inspired leader of our community.”

Rushing served two terms as District 2 supervisor. She joins the current supervisor, Jim Steele, in endorsing Crandell in the primary election that will be decided on June 5.

Crandell’s next campaign meet and greet is on April 25 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center, 3985 Country Club Drive.

The event is open to all. Complimentary snacks and beverages will be served.

“At my campaign kick-off event last week in Nice I received considerable input on the issues that matter most to District 3 residents. Gathering as much input as I can from the communities I will represent, if elected, is essential. I welcome everyone to join me in an ongoing discussion of our mutual interests,” said Crandell.
